These Terms & Conditions apply to all competitions operated by WatchThisCompetitions (“the Promoter”). By entering any competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
- Entrants must be aged 18 or over and resident in the UK.
- Proof of age and identity may be required before a prize is issued.
- Employees, agents, or family members of the Promoter are not eligible to enter.
2. How to Enter
- Entries can be made by purchasing tickets via the Promoter’s website.
- Each ticket purchased equals one entry into the competition.
- A skill-based question must be answered correctly for the entry to be valid.
- Free entry by post is available. To enter without purchase, send your full name, address, contact number, and answer to the skill question by first class post to the Promoter’s registered address. Postal entries must be received before the competition closing date.
- Paid and free entries are treated equally in all draws.
3. Competition Period
- Each competition has its own opening and closing dates, clearly stated on the product/competition page.
- No entries will be accepted after the closing date.
- The Promoter reserves the right to extend the closing date if insufficient entries are received.
4. The Draw & Winner Selection
- The winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries after the competition closes.
- The draw will take place on the date specified on the competition page.
- The winner will be contacted within 24 hours by email or phone. If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw.
- The Promoter may publish the winner’s name, location, and photograph on its website and social media channels.
5. Prizes
- The prize for each competition is stated clearly on the relevant product page.
- Some prizes may be pre-owned or second-hand; this will always be disclosed on the competition page.
- Where stated, a fixed cash alternative may be offered instead of the main prize.
- For holiday prizes, the maximum value and destination restrictions (e.g. Europe only) will be outlined on the competition page. Holidays will be booked via a third-party travel agent.
- Prizes are non-transferable and no negotiation is permitted.
6. Refunds & Cancellations
- No refunds will be given for entries once purchased, except in the event that the competition is cancelled.
- If a competition does not sell a sufficient number of tickets, the Promoter reserves the right to extend the closing date or substitute the prize with a cash alternative of equal or lesser value.
7. Liability
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to technical fault, technical malfunction, or computer hardware/software failure.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any costs incurred by the winner in relation to accepting or using the prize.
- The Promoter shall not be liable for any damage, loss, or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the competition.
8. Legal
- Competitions are skill-based promotions and do not constitute lotteries or gambling.
